OPEC secretary general to visit Russia in May

BEIJING, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - OPEC Secretary General Abdalla Salem El-Badri plans to visit Russia in May, a Russian deputy prime minister told journalists on Tuesday.

The secretary general "voiced this suggestion during our last meeting," Igor Sechin said.

He reiterated that Moscow has proposed holding an international conference in Moscow this fall to discuss "problems of the oil and gas industry and fair energy prices."
