Russia's GDP forecast to fall by 8.7%-10% in 2Q09 - ministry

MOSCOW, April 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Economic Development Ministry has forecast a 8.7%-10% drop year-on-year in Russia's GDP in the second quarter of 2009, a deputy economics minister said on Thursday.

However, GDP is expected to grow from 1.3% to 2.8% in April-June 2009 against the first three months of the year, Andrei Klepach said.
