AFK-Sistema plans big-ticket acquisitions in 1Q09

DAVOS, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's financial-industrial group AFK-Sistema is planning big-budget acquisitions, worth many billions of dollars, in the first quarter of the current year, the company head said on Thursday.

"We will make significant acquisitions during this quarter [of the year], requiring billions of dollars," Yevgeny Yevtushenkov said.
