Russia proposes mineral deposit tax holiday

MOSCOW, April 27 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's government has proposed introducing a tax holiday for a number of new mineral deposits and decreasing tax coefficients for small deposits.

"I propose introducing a tax holiday for new deposits situated in the Black and Okhotsk seas, and decreasing coefficients for small deposits," Vladimir Putin said at a budget planning commission session.
