SARATOV, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - Emergency service
officials in Saratov, Russia's Volga Region, attended the death
of a three-year-old boy who was accidently run over by a car
driven by a six-year-old, a rescue spokesman said on Tuesday.
The tragedy happened on Monday evening in the yard of a
housing complex after the father of the six-year-old handed him
the keys to his car and asked him to warm up the engine.
However the car was in gear when he started the engine and the
vehicle hit the three-year-old playing nearby, killing him
instantly.
Police have launched an investigation to establish the
circumstances surrounding the child's death.
