MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Foreign
Minister Sergei Lavrov will arrive in New York on May 9 for a
UN Security Council session on the Middle East settlement, the
Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Andrei Nesterenko said Lavrov would also attend a meeting
of the Middle East Quartet, which comprises Russia, the United
States, the European Union and the United Nations.
The visit will come after Lavrov's trip to Washington on
May 6-8, during which he will hold talks with Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton and the leadership of the U.S. Congress.
