LUKoil makes 2nd payment for Akpet shares

MOSCOW, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - LUKOIL Eurasia Petrol A.S. has made a $150 million payment for shares in Turkey's retail fuel operator Akpet, LUKoil said Thursday.

Russia's largest independent oil producer purchased 100% of the company in November 2008 for $555 million, to be paid in three stages.

$250 million was paid out in November 2008, and the third installment will have to be paid not later than October 30.
