NEW YORK, May 4 (RIA Novosti) - Georgia is increasing
its military presence on the border with South Ossetia and
Abkhazia and is carrying out provocations, which is
destabilizing the situation in the region, Russia's envoy to
the UN said Monday.
"Despite the presence of EU observers, the Georgian side
is regularly carrying out provocations," Vitaly Churkin, who
took over as UN Security Council chair at the beginning of the
month, told journalists.
