Russia developing sea-based aerial drones - industry source

MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is developing the prototype of a sea-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which could be used on combat ships, including future aircraft carriers, a defense industry official said on Friday.

"The Vega concern has developed the concept of using UAVs for coastal guard purposes," an anonymous source at the company said.
