MOSCOW, May 5 (RIA Novosti) - Former police chief
Denis Yevsyukov, who killed three and wounded six in a south
Moscow supermarket in late April, has been charged with murder
and faces life in prison, investigators said Tuesday.
Yevsyukov's killing spree sent shockwaves through the
police force, prompting the dismissals of a number of top
police officials. The government has promised to introduce
immediate measures, including tightening discipline and staff
checks.
