ANKARA, May 6 (RIA Novosti) - A Turkish government
commission has finished studying a Russian bid to build a
nuclear power plant, and will send its decision to the Energy
Ministry next week, the energy minister said on Wednesday.
Atomstroyexport, acting through a consortium with Russian
power producer Inter RAO UES and Turkey's Park Teknik, is
participating in a tender to build four nuclear reactors with
generation capacity of 1.2 GW each in Turkey.
Taner Yildiz said that the timeframe for announcing the
results of the tender, in which the international consortium
led by Atomstroyexport is the only bidder, was not yet known.
