Armenia:

* Four people are now reported to have died in a fire that broke out at a rubber plant in the Armenian capital of Yerevan, the head of the city's ambulance service said

Georgia:

* Georgian opposition parties that have been demonstrating for over a month demanding the president step down are refusing to take part in a constitutional commission, an opposition leader said

Ukraine:

* Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said that the government must review the January natural gas contracts signed with Russia

* Ukraine's parliament demanded a probe into reports of the interior minister's detention over a drunken brawl at Frankfurt airport and moved to suspend him until an investigation is completed
