Russia abolishes LPG export duty

MOSCOW, February 2 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government has abolished export duty on liquefied petroleum gas, a government source said on Monday.

The corresponding government resolution was signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on January 30, the source said.

"The resolution has been signed. It has retroactive force and came into effect from January 1, 2009," the source told RIA Novosti.
