MOSCOW, June 2 (RIA Novosti) - Israeli Foreign
Minister Avigdor Lieberman told U.S. President Barack Obama at
a meeting that he would attend a Middle East conference planned
to be held in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
said on Tuesday.
"My Israeli colleague has confirmed his readiness to
participate in preparing and holding the Moscow conference on a
Middle East settlement," Lavrov said.
He said that during a meeting between Russian President
Dmitry Medvedev and Lieberman, the two had agreed that
preparations for "such important events" should be accelerated,
particularly the Moscow conference.
