BEIJING, June 3 (RIA Novosti) - Nine people died and another nine were injured after a minibus collided with a train in central China's Hubei Province, Xinhua has reported. The incident occurred on Tuesday night on the Changjing Railway, the news agency said citing local authorities. Four of the injured are in a critical health condition. No train passengers were injured during the crash. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway. Xinhua said the minibus was attempting to cross a pedestrian intersection that was off-limits to vehicles when the crash occurred. At least 100,000 people die in road accidents in China each year.
