URGENT: Ukraine could steal gas if storage systems empty - Putin

HELSINKI, June 3 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin warned on Wednesday that Ukraine could tap gas unless it pumps enough fuel into its underground gas storage systems.

"Ukraine cannot survive without pumping gas to its underground storage systems, and it will be forced to tap gas from the export pipeline," Putin told reporters after talks with his Finnish counterpart Matti Vanhanen.
