Bus overturns in southwest China, one child dead

BEIJING, June 4 (RIA Novosti) - A bus overturned in southwest China on Thursday, killing one child and injuring another 12, the Sina news portal reported.

The incident occurred in Chongqing in the Sichuan Province, when the bus was carrying 13 people, 12 of them children from a kindergarten.

A girl died in the crash, seven children were seriously injured and five others suffered light wounds. All of the children have been hospitalized.

An investigation is underway.
