* The naked body of a woman with multiple stab wounds was found in western Moscow, a police source said. A suspect in the murder has already been arrested

* A 33-year-old woman was shot dead in her mother's house by an unidentified gunman in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Chechnya, a police source said

* A 25-year-old woman was detained on charges of stealing her friend's 7-month-old daughter for unknown reasons, a police source said. The child was returned to her mother

* A 26-year-old traffic police officer was shot in the head by a drunk driver in the Central Russian city of Engels, but survived after being operated on, investigators said

* A Lexus car worth about 1.5 million rubles ($50,000) was stolen in downtown Moscow, a police source said

* Six unidentified burglars stole coffee worth about 1 million rubles ($32,000) from a Moscow market, a police source said
