Russia's stock market opens with share growth

MOSCOW, June 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's two main stock exchanges, MICEX and the RTS, opened on Thursday with their benchmark indices going up.

The index of the dollar-denominated RTS opened up 0.21% from Wednesday's close on 1,040.62 points, while the index of the ruble-denominated MICEX climbed 1.33% to 1,053.18 points.
