MOSCOW, June 25 (RIA Novosti) - Members of Russia's
State Duma and the U.S. Congress will meet in Moscow on June 29
to discuss key issues of bilateral relations, a senior Russian
lawmaker said on Thursday.
The joint session of the State Duma International Affairs
Committee and U.S. House of Representatives Committee on
Foreign Affairs will take place in the lower house of the
Russian parliament.
The discussions will include preparations for a meeting of
the Russian and U.S. presidents in July, the head of
parliament's International Affairs Committee, Konstantin
Kosachev, said.
The sides are expected to discuss trade and economic
cooperation, regional stability, weapons control, and
non-proliferation as well as humanitarian issues, including the
adoption of Russian children in the U.S.
