URGENT: Moscow urges international patience on Iran nuclear issue

TRIESTE (Italy), June 26 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian foreign minister said on Friday he doubted Tehran would change its position on the nuclear issue and urged the international community to be patient and work toward a peaceful resolution.

"It is necessary to ensure a peaceful resolution of the Iranian nuclear problem. I don't think there will be any changes in the Iranian leadership's position. We should be ready for this, and show patience," Sergei Lavrov said.
