* The body of a young woman, aged between 18 and 20, has
been found in the Republic of Bashkortostan in western Urals, a
spokesman for the republic's interior ministry said. She died
of two stab wounds to the neck
* Police have detained a man from the southern Russian
town of Zernograd, who killed two of his friends to pay for his
daughter's wedding, a police source said
* Over 2 kg (4.4 lbs) of cocaine was seized in Russia's
second largest city of St. Petersburg, the local drug control
department said
