Russians’ highest productivity levels at work are in winter.
One-third of Russia’s employers believe that their employees work the most effectively in the fall. At the same time, only 16% of employees share that opinion. The findings of a poll carried out by the research center of the recruiting portal “SuperJob.ru” indicated that productivity levels in Russia are the highest during the winter months. Twenty-four percent of Russians in non-management positions think that winter is the most productive time of the year at work. The smallest percentage of respondents in the same category (21%) noticed improved work performance in the spring, citing the fact that a better mood and an influx of energy provoke the desire to work more and better. Those polled admitted that in summer, good weather and thoughts about vacations distract them from work; only about 16% of Russians can work most efficiently under such conditions. The remaining 27% of those polled don’t associate productivity at work with seasonal factors. At the same time, employers have a slightly different opinion about maximum work productivity than their employees do. One-third (33%) of Russian employers believe that the most productive season as far as productivity is concerned is fall. Another 20% believe that their employees are the most productive in spring and 18% think they are most productive in winter. Only 8% named summer as the most productive season of the year. More news
