The volume of agricultural production in Russia in January-November 2016 has increased in current prices on 4,1% comparing with the corresponding period last year – up to 5,222 trillion rubles, is said in immediate ROSSTAT report.
Therefore, in November the figure grew on 5,6% in per year terms – up to 509 billion rubles. At 2016 year end Ministry of agriculture of Russia is expecting growth of agricultural production on 13% comparing with 2015.
At the same time statistics service clarified the dynamics of agricultural production in summer and fall months, that is related to getting an up-to-date information about volumes of fruit and berries production in all categories of units. In June the figure grew on 6,5% (previous forecast – growth on 4,7%), in August – on 4,9 (growth on 5,9%), in September – on 3,9% (1,7%), in October – on 3,8% (2,4%).
At the end of November current year cattle population in all units of agricultural producers amounted to 18,9 million animals, that is 1,7% less than the corresponding date last year, cows from the stock – 8,2 million animals (reduction on 1,8%). Pig population has grown on 2,9% - up to 22,5 million, sheep and goats – reduced on 0,7% up to 25 million.
For the farms there were 43,4% per structure of cattle population: 15,6% of pigs, 47,9% sheep and goats (at the end of November 2015 – 44,4%, 16,9% and 47,3% correspondingly). Livestock and poultry for slaughter production in January – November in all categories’ units grew on 3,9% comparing with the corresponding period last year – up to 12,3 million tons (live weight), in November – on 15,4% on a monthly basis and on 2% on a year basis – up to 1,5 million tons.
Milk production in 11 months of 2016 on a year basis reduced on 0,5% and amounted to 28,5 million tons, in November production reduced on 11,4% comparing with October current year, but grew on 1,2% comparing with November last year – up to 2,1 million tons. Eggs production in January- November grew on 2,2% up to 40 billion pieces, in November reduced on 6,3% comparing with October and grew on 4,5% on a year basis – up to 3,4 billion pieces.
