Suspects detained over murder of mayor of N.Ossetian capital

MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - Two suspects have been detained in connection with the 2008 murder of the mayor of Vladikavkaz, the capital of Russia's republic of North Ossetia, investigators from the Prosecutor General's Office said on Wednesday.

"One of the detainees suspected of murdering [Vitaly Karayev in November 2008] is an officer with the Interior Ministry in North Ossetia," the committee said in a statement.
