Russian inflation at 2.9% from Jan 1 through Feb 9

MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - Inflation in Russia stood at 2.9% in the period from January 1 through February 9, the federal state statistics service said on Wednesday.

The Economic Development Ministry forecast inflation at 1.4%-1.6% in February 2009, against 1.2% in February 2008.
