NIZHNY NOVGOROD, February 13 (RIA Novosti) - Charges of driving another person to suicide have been dropped against a teenage girl whose boyfriend leapt from a building to his death in Russia's Urals republic of Udmurtia, investigators said Friday. According to investigators, the young couple was often seen together on the roof of a 7-storey building under construction in the republic's capital of Izhevsk. In January, during what turned out to be their last meeting, the girl, 17, tripped and fell from the roof. She survived the fall, but was badly injured and lost consciousness. After the girl regained consciousness, she heard her boyfriend, 18, talking with a friend on his cell phone. He said that he did not want to live without the girl, and jumped. The girl was unable to shout to her boyfriend that she was alive. The young man died later of his injuries in hospital. The initial charge of driving another person to suicide was dropped after an investigation. More news
