Russia to discuss terms of 2nd loan tranche with Belarus

MOSCOW, January 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Belarus
will discuss the terms of a second $1 billion tranche of the $2
billion stabilization loan at a meeting in Minsk on January 28,
Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said Thursday.
The first tranche was received by the Belarusian Finance
Ministry in November 2008. The Russian state loan was granted
to Belarus for 15 years at LIBOR plus 3% of annual interest
with a deferment of debt repayment for five years.
