Russia expects proposals on cooperation from NATO, U.S. -

MUSCAT, February 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is waiting
for specific cooperation proposals from the U.S. and NATO,
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday.
"We have heard several NATO members saying they want to
set up a joint system to meet today's challenges and threats,
including arms control, strategic stability, missile defense
and cooperation in Afghanistan," Lavrov said at a news
conference in Oman. "We will wait for specific proposals."
