YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, February 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russia plans to produce some 90 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the global market by 2030, the head of Russian energy giant Gazprom said on Wednesday. Alexei Miller was speaking after a ceremony opening the country's first LNG plant, on the Far Eastern island of Sakhalin. "By 2030 we plan to supply to the global market some 90 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas," he said. More news
