URGENT: Prosecutors to appeal 'not guilty' verdict in Politkovskaya case

MOSCOW, February 19 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Prosecutor General's Office will appeal the 'not guilty' verdict for those acquitted of involvement in the murder of Russian investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya, a prosecutor said on Thursday.

Earlier in the day the jury unanimously delivered a not guilty verdict on all three accused concluding that prosecutors had failed to prove the defendants' guilt.
