URGENT: Top investigation body to continue probe into Politkovskaya murder

MOSCOW, February 24 (RIA Novosti) - A spokesman for Russia's Prosecutor General's Office said on Tuesday that a probe into the 2006 murder of investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya would continue until the identities of all those involved had been established.

"Given the not guilty verdict by the jury...in the Anna Politkovskaya murder case, I announce that the criminal probe will continue until the truth and identities of those involved in the crime, including the perpetrator and the person who ordered the murder have been established," Vladimir Markin said.
