MOSCOW, February 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russian arms
exports in 2009 will remain at last year's level, a deputy
prime minister said on Wednesday.
"According to experts' estimates, the export of arms and
military hardware in 2009 will remain at the previous level. An
analysis of trends in the fourth quarter of 2008 shows that
unambiguously," Serge Ivanov said.
The Federal Defense Cooperation Service earlier predicted
that Russian arms exports would grow up to $8.5 billion in 2009
from slightly over $8 billion.
