MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime
Minister Vladimir Putin will deliver a speech on Thursday at
the conference of social ministers from the Council of Europe
member states, the government press service said.
The conference, to be held in Moscow on February 26-27,
will focus on maintaining social stability amid the global
financial crisis.
It will be attended by representatives of more than 40
Council of Europe member states, as well as top Council of
Europe officials, including Secretary General Terry Davis.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Russian
Health and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova and
Spanish Education, Social Affairs and Sport Minister Mercedes
Cabrera will also attend.
