MOSCOW, March 9 (RIA Novosti) - A Canadian national
has been robbed in northern Moscow, police said Monday.
Unknown assailants burst into the apartment the Canadian
rented on Sunday and took his money and valuables worth 900,000
rubles ($25,200).
"Three unknown assailants burst into the apartment in
apartment block 11 on Novolesnaya Street that the Canadian
national rents. Threatening with physical force, the men took
$23,000, jewelry, two mobile phones and escaped," the police
said.
The Canadian was not injured. An investigation is
underway.
