Russian nuclear official to visit Iran's Bushehr site

MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) - A Rosatom deputy head, Alexander Lokshin, will hold a meeting on Monday at the site of Iran's first nuclear power plant, a spokesman for the Russian civilian nuclear agency said.

"Progress in the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant will be discussed with the heads of contractors and experts," a Rosatom spokesman said.

Russia is to complete the $1 billion project in southern Iran by the middle of the year.
