Khrunichev space center to get $232 mln for capital enlargement

MOSCOW, March 18 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government will allocate 8 billion rubles ($232 million) to the Khrunichev research and production space center to enlarge its charter capital, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

The Khrunichev Space Center was founded in 1993 on the basis of the country's major aircraft and spacecraft manufacturers, the Khrunichev Works and the Salyut Design Bureau.
