Russian government approves draft adjusted budget for 2009

MOSCOW, March 19 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government approved on Thursday a draft adjusted budget for 2009, which will be sent to the parliament for consideration in the near future, the economics minister said.

According to the draft, the budget is projected to run a deficit of 7.4% of GDP for the first time in eight years.
