Four killed in house fire in east Siberia

YAKUTSK, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - Two women and two children have been killed in a fire in a village in east Siberia, a spokesman for the local emergencies ministry said on Wednesday.

The blaze occurred on Tuesday in the village of Namtsy in Yakutia.

The nearest fire station is located 18 kilometers away and when the firefighters arrived at the village, the roof of the house had already collapsed, the spokesman said.
