Russia's stock market opens with shares slightly up

MOSCOW, March 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's two main stock exchanges, MICEX and the RTS, opened trading on Tuesday with their key indexes slightly up.

As of 10:37 a.m. Moscow time (06:37 GMT), the index of the ruble-denominated MICEX climbed 2.15% from Monday's close to 779.78 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS edged up 0.37% to 685.44 points.
