URGENT: Ukrainian president to appeal election date set by parliament

KIEV, April 1 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko will appeal in the Constitutional Court the October 25 date set by parliament for presidential elections, the presidential secretariat said Wednesday.

"The president will surely turn to the Constitutional Court on the issue," a deputy head of the secretariat said.
