Below is a summary of crimes registered in Russia and the CIS on Friday, April 3

* A man shot dead two of his male acquaintances for unknown reasons before turning a gun on himself in Mtsensk in western Russia, a police source said

* The bodies of a police officer and two of his brothers were found shot dead in a wood near what looked like a militant hideout in the southern Russian republic of Daghestan, local police said

* Three people were killed and one injured during an armed robbery of a cash-in-transit vehicle in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkov, Ukraine's UNIAN news agency said

* A Porsche 911 plated with real gold and worth an estimated $600,000 was stolen in the southeast of Moscow, a police source said

* Border guards in south Russia's Daghestan have detained a man who tried to smuggle into Russia 84 kg (185 lbs) of hashish in a gas cylinder, the regional customs service said

* A man in Yaroslavl was detained in possession of over 3 kg (6.6 lbs) of heroin, a police source said

* Two Tajik nationals in possession of over 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of heroin were detained in the Moscow Region, a spokesperson for the local drug control department said

* A jewelry shop was robbed in the southern Russian city of Vladikavkaz, the exact value of the stolen valuables is unknown, a police source said

* Four local residents were detained in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Chechnya while attempting to sell over 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs) of heroin, a spokesman for the local prosecutor's office said

* A search is underway for a truck with 25 metric tons of chicken drumsticks worth 1.3 million rubles ($40,000), which was stolen in Russia's second largest city of St. Petersburg, a police source said
