Euro passes 44 rubles on MICEX

MOSCOW, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - The exchange rate of the euro against the ruble exceeded 44 rubles on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange on Wednesday.

The euro rate for contracts with "tomorrow" settlements was 44.29 rubles as of 11:20 a.m. Moscow time (08:20 GMT) on MICEX.

The official euro rate set by the Russian Central Bank for Wednesday is 43.7123 rubles.
