ROME, April 6 (RIA Novosti) - The death toll
following a powerful earthquake that hit central Italy early on
Monday has reached 92, SkyTG24 reported.
The earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck
the mountainous region of Abruzzo, to the northeast of Rome, at
3:32 a.m. local time (01:32 GMT) and was followed by a strong
aftershock.
Earlier reports said 70 people were dead.
