The gold reserves of Russia for June 2016 increased on 18.7 tons and reached 1499,2 tons

Bank of Russia bought in June 0,6 mln Troy ounces (18,7 tons) of gold, reports Central Bank. Totally during 6 months of 2016 Central Bank bought 2.7 million Troy ounces (84,02 tons) of gold.

For 2015 Central Bank bought 6,7 mln ounces (208,39 tons).

Thus, considering average account gold prices within 2750 rubles per gram, Central Bank of Russia has poured into economy of our country more than 231 bln roubles from the beginning of the year.
