MOSCOW, June 18 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom's CEO and
Denmark's minister of climate and energy discussed cooperation
between the Russian gas monopoly and Danish energy companies in
Moscow on Thursday, the energy giant said in a statement.
Alexei Miller met with Connie Hedegaard for talks on
developing cooperation "in the sphere of energy and gas
supplies and marked great potential for successful fulfillment
of joint projects," the statement said.
Gazprom added that the sides also stressed the importance
of starting construction of the Nord Stream pipeline, which is
to eventually pump 55 billion cu m of gas per year to Western
Europe, bypassing traditional transit nations.
