Foreign Companies May Pay State Duties Through Authorized Representatives
13.05.2011
|
Payment of state duties for technical device permits for hazardous industrial facilities in Russia needed by foreign companies which do not have representative offices and ruble bank accounts may be carried out through authorized representatives according to the location that the permit will be issued in. This is explained in the Letter of the Ministry of Finance # 03-05-05-03/07 from March 22, 2011.
In this case, the payment documentation must be annotated to stipulate that an appropriate state duty amount was paid by the payer for a foreign legal entity who requested the above-mentioned permit and paid for it from its own funds.
If the state duty is paid in the name of a non-existent payer or in an incorrect amount, the payment will be considered invalid.
