Local and foreign investors continue developing vegetable growing in protected ground in the region. During the year total area of greenhouses in the region has widened more than in 10 times: from 0,32 hectare in January 2015 to 3,4 hectare in January 2016.
Greenhouses construction in the region is led by “APK“Vostok”, businessman Victor Butkov from Khabarovsk region, Russian – Japanese company “JGC Evergreen” and LLC “Agricultural Technologies of the Future”, that is carrying out one of the major projects in those areas in cooperation with a Japanese company “Mirai”.
The most extensive greenhouse project in the area is carried out by JGC Evergreen. The anchor president of TOSER “Khabarovsk” is completing the first stage of greenhouse complex in industrial park “Avangard”. One the area of 2,5 hectares the first harvest is expected in the beginning of spring.
The complex works on gas. Mini boiler station, electrical substation and also other equipment allow maintaining optimal air temperature. Investors have already deposited 556 million rubles. Whole project implementation is divided into three stages. During several years greenhouse area will be increased to 10 hectares. There will also be planted peppers, lettuce cultures and strawberry. Upon that Japanese technologies of production are optimized for eco-friendly output only. Short distance from the sale points will allow delivering fresh vegetables straight to retail chains.
