“Gazprom” in the first quarter has increased gas deliveries to the countries, that traditionally have been nett-exporters in Europe – the UK and Holland, informed the journalists the chairman of the board of OJSC “Gazprom” Aleksey Miller.
“The leaders of growth of russian gas purchases in the first three months of 2016 – the countries that for many years have been nett-exporters in Europe. According to preliminary data, deliveries to the UK have grown in 242,6% (+3,9 billion cum.), to Holland – in 122,7% (+579 million cum.) comparing with the first quarter of 2015”, - said Miller.
As previously reported, on the first quarter of 2016 “Gazprom” significantly increased gas deliveries to non-CIS countries. According to recent reports, during January-March of 2016 export volume has increased in 9,9 billion cum that is 28,6 % comparing to similar period of 2015.
In particular, deliveries to Germany have increased in 26,7 %, to Austria – 34,2 %.
