In the third quarter of 2016 GDP of Russia comparing with April - June (excepting seasonal factor) grew a little, although its growth was close to zero, states a report of Bank of Russia experts.
A week earlier experts of Bank for Foreign economic Activity informed, that GDP of Russia in the third quarter ( with allowance for seasonal factor) grew comparing with the second quarter on 0,1 %. GDP growth at quarter-end the experts of the Bank reported for the first time since 2014 year.
However, according to the chief economist of Bank for Foreign economic Activity Andrey Klepach, speaking of stagnation overcoming is too early and economic “is keeping on balancing on a path close to zero”.
In the published on October,31 report of Central Bank it is said, that comparing with July – September 2015 GDP of Russia reduced in the third quarter of 2016 on 0,4–0,6%. At a year-end of 2016 generally, GDP decline rate will amount to 0,5–0,7%.
